Type your UPI ID and the name on your bank account, leave the amount empty, and download the counter card. Print it and place it at the till: customers scan it with any UPI app, type the amount and pay. Scan it once yourself before you put it out, and check the name your app shows.
Any UPI app that scans payment QR codes: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay and banking apps. The code is a standard UPI payment link in NPCI's linking format, not tied to one app.

No. This makes a QR for a UPI ID, which works for receiving payments directly. A merchant QR from your bank or a payment provider is issued under a merchant agreement, carries a merchant code, and comes with settlement reports and sound-box alerts. Some apps apply limits or extra prompts when paying a personal UPI ID by QR, so for high volumes of business takings a merchant QR is the more reliable choice.
The code contains only your UPI ID, your display name, and the amount and note if you set them. Nobody can take money from you with it; it can only be used to pay you. Nothing you type here is uploaded: the code is made in your browser.
No. It keeps working as long as the UPI ID stays active on your account. If you change or delete the UPI ID, make a new code.
