How we work with studios: the terms, in plain English
Every job is priced and dated in writing before work starts. If the first page isn't right, you don't pay. You own the work once it's paid for, we never contact or work for your clients, and monthly plans stop with 30 days' notice.

Scope, price and dates
Each page or batch gets a written quote before any work starts: the price, what's included and the delivery date. If the scope changes along the way, the change is priced and agreed in writing before it's built.
Typical prices are $150–250 per page template, less for pages that reuse built sections and from about $300 for complex pages; fixes on live sites from $99.
The first page
The first page is how you find out whether we suit each other. If it isn't right, you don't pay for it, and there's nothing more to settle.
Payment
Invoices are in US dollars, payable by ACH bank transfer to a US account. They follow the size of the job:
- Under $500: paid on delivery
- $500 to $2,000: half to start, half on delivery
- Over $2,000: 30% to start, 40% after the first batch, 30% on final delivery
Feedback rounds
One round of feedback per batch is included in the price. Further rounds, or changes beyond the approved design, are quoted before they're done.
Your clients stay yours
White-label means exactly that:
- No contact with your clients, unless you ask for it
- No credit on their sites and no mention in our portfolio
- Your NDA signed before you share a design, if you want one
- If one of your clients approaches us directly, we turn the work down and point them back to you
Ownership and confidentiality
Once a page or batch is paid for, the work is yours: the code, the content we produced and the right to change it. Your designs, your clients' information and any access you give us are used only for your project, and we ask you to remove our access when the work is done.
Monthly plans
Studios with steady work can reserve hours, and studios reselling care can put client sites on a plan:
- Reserved hours: 20, 40 or 80 hours a month for $900, $1,700 or $3,200, billed monthly in advance; each request is estimated before work starts; unused hours carry over one month; extra hours at the plan rate
- Care for client sites: $59, $119 or $279 a site a month; first month free on your first site
- Both are month to month: stop with 30 days' notice
Working together
Requests come by email or in your Slack or Trello. Replies within one US business day; calls booked in your morning. Work arrives as a branch and pull request in your repository, or on your staging site, as drafts your client doesn't see until you approve them.
Questions about the terms
For each job, the written quote together with these terms is the agreement. If your studio has its own subcontractor agreement or NDA, we're happy to sign that instead.
Yes: the US, Canada, the UK and Europe, on the same terms. Invoices are in US dollars.
Usually, yes. Tell us what you need before the first job and we'll put it in writing.
