About our research crawler
If you saw KodinavResearch/1.0 in your server logs, it was us. For each study it visits a website's homepage once: it reads robots.txt, requests the homepage over https and http, checks the certificate, and loads the page once in a browser to see it as a visitor would. It does not follow links, submit forms or log in.
