ADA accessibility fix sprint for your existing website, from $600
An accessibility fix sprint audits the pages that matter most on your current website against WCAG 2.1 AA, fixes the common failures, re-tests them and documents the result, in about a week. It costs from US$600 for up to 5 key pages, fixed in writing after a free scan, without rebuilding your site.

What the sprint covers
Up to 5 key pages, usually your homepage, services, contact, booking and checkout:
- Automated audit (axe) plus manual testing with a keyboard and a screen reader
- Fixes for the failures behind most complaints: missing alt text, unlabelled form fields, nameless links and buttons, low colour contrast, heading order, page language, blocked zoom, invisible keyboard focus
- Removal or replacement of accessibility overlay widgets, which don't fix code
- A re-test after the fixes, with a before-and-after report you keep
- A draft accessibility statement for your site
What it doesn't cover
Large sites beyond the first 5 pages (quoted per page), PDFs, captions for existing videos, third-party widgets we can't edit, and legal advice. A sprint reduces risk and makes your site usable for more customers; no one can promise a site is lawsuit-proof.
Which websites it works on
Custom-coded sites and WordPress are fully fixable. On Wix, Squarespace and Shopify some theme code is locked; the free scan tells you what can be fixed before you pay anything, and when a Starter rebuild would cost less.
How it works
- Run the free accessibility checker, or send me your site's address
- A fixed quote within one business day, listing exactly which pages and issues
- Access to your site (or a copy of it) and about a week of work
- Re-test, report and handover
Fix, rebuild or ignore?
| Option | Cost | When it makes sense |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility fix sprint | From US$600 | The site is otherwise fine and editable |
| Starter website, built accessible | US$800 – 1,200 | The site is old, slow or locked into a builder theme |
| Overlay widget | Monthly fee | Not recommended: it doesn't fix the code, and sites using overlays are still sued |
Questions about the accessibility fix sprint
It fixes the common WCAG 2.1 AA failures on your key pages and documents the testing, which is what reduces risk in practice. There's no official ADA certificate for private websites, and no one can honestly guarantee a site is lawsuit-proof.
Yes, with the technical side: an audit and fixes, quickly, with a report your lawyer can use. Talk to a lawyer about the legal side.
Widgets add a toolbar but leave the underlying code unchanged, so screen-reader users still hit the same barriers. In our study of 1,186 US small-business sites, 78% of sites with an overlay still failed automated checks.
You get the report and a short checklist for adding new content. An optional quarterly re-check is available.
